Place the safety eyes between rounds 11 and 12, 10 stitches apart.

Fasten off, leaving a tail to sew the head to the body. Before sewing it on, embroider 6 lines to divide the head into pumpkin segments, as shown in the photo.

Fasten off, leaving a tail to sew the ears to either side of the head between rounds 4 and 9.

Finished orange ear, triangular in shape.

Skirt

Join the yarn to the loops left from round 13 and work:
