What are cookies, and who is responsible?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser or on your device when you visit certain pages. This policy covers cookies and similar browser storage technologies, such as sessionStorage and localStorage.
The website owner is Eva Canosa Lista, trading as Galencaixe (Spanish tax identification number, NIF: 78805988F; address: Lugar As Casillas 61, 15680 Ordes, A Coruña, Spain; contact: hello@galencaixe.com).
This website distinguishes between cookies and technical technologies needed for the service, optional Google Analytics measurement and optional Sentry error diagnostics. The two options are independent. Necessary technologies allow browsing, shopping and remembering your preferences; they are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Google Analytics: purpose and data
Google Analytics is used for statistical measurement of website use and aggregate ecommerce measurement, only where you have given express consent.
When you make a purchase, the implemented system may associate the following with the measurement event: Analytics client and session identifiers, transaction ID, currency, total amount, product identifiers and names, quantities and unit prices. The system does not send Google Analytics your name, email address, postal address or payment card details.
The standard Google Analytics implementation may also collect session statistics, approximate geographical location and browser and device information.
Managing, refusing and withdrawing consent
Google Analytics remains completely disabled unless you accept its use.
Rejecting analytics cookies does not prevent you from browsing, registering, signing in or completing purchases.
Your choice is remembered for 365 days.
You can reopen the 'Cookie settings' control, permanently available on the website, at any time to review or withdraw your consent.
Withdrawing consent immediately stops future analytics data collection, and the website removes analytics cookies and identifiers (_ga*) accessible from the domain.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.
Data retention
Cookie duration on your device and the retention period for collected data are different:
Each cookie's duration is listed in the inventory above, such as the default 2 years for Google's _ga cookies.
User-level and event-level data retention in the Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property is set to 2 months.
Third parties and international transfers
Google acts as a third-party provider only when you have consented to analytics cookies.

Analytics use only
Galencaixe uses Google Analytics solely for statistical and ecommerce measurement, after analytics cookies have been accepted. This integration is not used for behavioral advertising, remarketing, retargeting or ad personalization.
The Google Analytics property used by Galencaixe is not linked to Google Ads.
Optional error diagnostics
Sentry loads in your browser only if you accept error diagnostics. This choice is independent of Google Analytics and can be withdrawn in cookie settings. I do not use Replay or visitor identifiers.
The first-party gc_diagnostics_consent cookie stores only ‘granted’ or ‘denied’ for 365 days to remember your choice. This preference cookie is necessary to respect that decision; it does not identify a person. Server diagnostics do not depend on this choice.
